Amnesia
I recently had the privilege of playing through a great survival horror game, Amnesia.
There are two things that stick out in my mind when I think of this game: Door slamming, and The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion
In regards to door slamming, the actual action in this game comes from startling a monster and then running away as fast as you can into the most familiar room possible and slamming doors in the monster’s face. The more doors slammed in his face the better.
As for Oblivion, since this game takes place in a castle the settings resemble oblivion. An interesting game mechanic is being able to grab just about anything you see. So of course I had way too much fun just tossing barrels and sand bags around and into things.
